new convert
I think I just converted another poor soul to the Darkside, my mom would kill me if she heard me say that. The guy was complaining about his 5th back tire and 8,000 mi.per so I pointed out the window and told him about mine. he said he had heard about them but didn't know any body with one, he was just ripe for the pickin
I'll keep in touch with this one and make sure we don't loose him
Told him I didn't know much about Yamaha but this would be the site to findout. On the other hand I was at a stealer last week looking for batwing stuff and made the mistake of bragging and got a whole list of ,was not made for...., walls will collapse....,roll off the rim...., then I said boy! wish I heard this 30,000 mi ago and left. I'm sure EVERYBODY'S got those storys .

I haven't as much as I thought I would... but now the N fender hides most of the tire anyway...

Re: new convert
i absolutely can not understand why people get so bent out of shape over a tire lmao.when i first seen a car tire on simplman77's bike,im knew right then and there it obviously works and my first thoughts were, man that looks stable as hell, and i want to save money as well.someone needs to throw the hondashadow.net forum some zanex and pain killers.those peeps over there have some serious issues about tires.poor souls

Re: new convert
I don't know if MORE drugs would help them....
There is a line in Monty Pythons "the holy grail" where sir gallihad says to king arthur, "And that is how we know the earth to be banana shaped".... Logic and reasoning are all good tools, but a million miles of incident free riding speaks for itself.

Re: new convert
I catch it both ways. Some are like what the he!!? and dig it some don't dig it so well, I have told them that thousands of bikes and millions of miles say differently, and personally I am at over 30K on CT's myself.
There have been a couple that I know have converted cause of our conversations.
Congrats
See you out there
