Hi folks.

I am hoping someone can help me understand a wiring diagram in the service manual.

I am looking at 27-28, on the right hand side of the page. Specifically, I am looking at the wiring leading to the bulb labled "BRAKE/TAILIGHT 12v - 21/5W"

My understanding is that this is the saddlebag running/brake/turn light.

Correct?

There are three wires labeled "G/R", "G", and "Br/W"

I assume these mean "Green/Red", "Green", ...

Been lurking, now my turn to post. Received a 175/60-16 Forenza from Don H. on the GWWRA board. (Don if you're here, the tire looks great-many thanks) Mounted it tonight. An easy job, probably didnt take 15 minutes after I figured out that using a big C clamp to keep the dropped in beads together would make it easy. Beads popped out after a couple of cycles of air and some spotting with murphy's oil soap on q-tip. Keeping it minimal for Dynabeads. Looks good, and eyeballing with a square ...

Well I got the tire on the bike today. I left the wheel weights on from the other tire. After a little dish soap and letting the air out, it popped right in. I had more trouble lining it up on the lug studs than getting it in the wheel well. Aired the tire back up to 35psi

changed my oil and filter. Let the bike off the jack and moved the bike to the front of the house. Went inside and got a cold drink and cooled off a few minutes.

Trying to help a friend with a 1500 Wing who is looking for a car tire. I offered some suggestions, but he says there isn't any room for such a wide tire (205/55). Claims to only have about 1/4" clearance now with his stock mc tire (180/60) at the swing arm. If so, a 205 is out of the question.

I thought the 1800 Wingers were using a 195/55? or such, but I'm not ...

I have noticed only 1 or 2 people with this tire in all the forums I have been reading. Kumo, Dunlop SP's, General, run flats seems to be the standard. This tire is just to try out the CT ride and handling.

Newbie here. Just wanted to share that I just picked up a Toyo Proxes 4 ($74) and went to The Dark Side on my 2002 Goldwing 1800. The tire fits the rim just fine. I used 195/50/16 with 43 lbs pressure. The first test ride around the neighborhood - about 2 miles, was perfect. Of course, the prior set of Dunlops, Elite 3, with which I had no real problem except wobble and a distinct wear on the left hand side, were a mess and anything might have felt good. The front is a Bridgestone 904, ...

Like many others on this board (LoftyBob, Dirtwarrior, DSWingnut etc), I have decided to try the Kuhmo Ecsta RF and I believe it is a "keeper" !!!!! I took the Conti_Pro Contact off even though it still has about 5,000 good miles on it, and installed the Kuhmo. I balanced it an it only took 1 gram to get it happy. So far I've put about 300 miles on it in the twisties, (Dragon) and on the super-slab. I really, I mean "really" like this tire!!!! Like LoftyBob says, it ...

Found this available:

I paid $200 + 25 shipping for this combo from ****** last week. He said he put about 200 miles on it and I put 210 miles on it today. It's just not what I'm looking for. Kumho ECSTA RF 195/55/16 w/wheel (has a few minor scratches that should polish out very well), $225 shipped to any lower 48 address.

Looking for input on price, correct; too high, or grab it right now?

I installed a new Pirelli Eufori@ 195/55/16 RF today!!

Replaced my Kumho RF: I got 17,225 miles out of the Kumho. I forgot to take pics of the old Kumho... I was down to the wear bars and a little more. I ran Dynabeads in this tire and I was very impressed. I am very good about checking my pressures and in the 17,225 miles I removed air once and added air once. Wear was EVEN across the tire and I really wish I'd gotten a picture of it before it was removed and left at the dealer. ...

I was ready to head out on a ride this morning and as usual I went to check the tires. I first look at the pressure than check the treads. As I went to the rear tire to check the tread I noticed that there was a nail in the tire. Now I am in need of a new tire and was wondering what fits on a 03 wing...that is a CT...

We are leaving on a 9,000 Km trip in early August and are towing a trailer so I knew the MCT would not last the distance. Having gone Darkside on my previous Triumph Rocket 111, I thought I would give it a go on the Wing as well.

Heaps smoother than the MCT, and to be truthfull, if you didn't know there was a CT on there, ...
