What a difference! This tire is a big winner and really put the Metz to shame. I had to make one air pressure adjustment and it was dialed perfect. I started with 40psi and I could feel the corner of the tire in lower speed turns which I don't like so down to 32psi and no more corner and what a ride, like riding on air, falls in and out of turns ... Just looking for more options for a front tire and on the S model you are really limited to Metz or Duncrap. Avon does not list a 140/80-17 in a front tire (unless I just missed it so far). My S tries to wobble in curves, if I go into a curve just a little hard and there is ANY kind of bump or dip the front end tries to straighten up. Thats about the best I can discribe it, it's almost like taking the curve is small bites instead of a smooth arc. I have changed out the stem bearings, have the nylon rear bushings installed ... Actually I drove from Houston, Tx to the 4 corners and back, about 2360miles in 3.5 days. So I tested the tire in temps from 55 to 105, everything from tight twisties through the mountains to flat interstate through texas southern plains.
