The Bridgestone Touranza is a run flat tire to boot. This rubber should be good for quite along time, while keeping me from blowing $400 to purchase and have mounted a stock monster sized OEM tire. But the other day i pulled my bike up into the plant at work and noticed the trail from running through the water. The rear is a 165/15 and the front is the Metzer whatever they sell for the 1300. I measured the rear tire width and it was 3-1/2" wide. Considering I spend most of my time vertical while riding, this is quite a bit of rubber for the road. I took it to the MC shop to have it mounted and the guy that tried to mount it had it way off center when he was trying to seat the bead. he kept on putting more air in and the tire blew, it blew about 10 feet into the air and came completely off the rim, when the wheel hit the floor it bent ... The way we play is to post a picture of a place. Then people guess where it is. Although is was acting like his mother...wouldn't hold still long for a pic. Oh...and got another tidbit of good news today too...they accepted the offer on the house we wanted...3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 car garage and a pool....so once we're settled we'll have a tech session/cook out at our place.
